Phase One - DoC

 Jasper gasped, eyes slowly widening. His heart beat a little fast with every word. No! But yes. The strays had declared violence upon the domestics. Lately the dust had settled and with it, Jasper's mind had strayed from the fact that the strays had a new leader, a leader who was teaming up with the White Dog. He had foolishly assumed it was going to benefit them on a more peaceful scale but as the husky continued on, he knew this was wishful thinking. 

The first thing to come to his mind as he stared at the dog was "who is this guy?" before he realised it was the rumored Fred. Dogs all around him gaped and whispered. Eyes darted to and fro as friends attempted to make of this new face. Then the dog opened his mouth and his stomach dropped. They were to attack the pets. Cardigan, Patagonia, Verse, Hero, his pups. They all flashed through his head as he, like the rest of them stared with horrified and shocked eyes. 

He was unable to tear his eyes away as the trio, mind going 90mph. He...he couldnt do his! He knew as a bouncer his position was to keep the peace and this was not peace. This was unnecessary. The shepherd knew of the pets kindness despite the odd rotten apple of their humans. With a choked breath, the large dog backed up and made his way back to the junkyard, the whispers of his cousins still ringing in his ears. This was not good. 

But what could he do that would not paint a target on his back? The attention was already on the drifters and surely the humans would take notice and put more effort into containing the growing packs. His gut rolled. No. This was no good at all.
